PARKING

Parking for runners IS NOT provided by the organizer. We recommend that runners and other visitors use public and other parking lots:

A)IZOLA

We recommend runners and supporters use public parking areas in Izola. We recommend that you park in the parking lots on the outskirts. Parking lots near the city centre will be inaccessible from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. due to the implementation of complete or partial closure of traffic.

The main venue can be reached on foot from all parking lots. Please note that the time to access the venue may be longer than usual due to the increased number of visitors.

B) ANKARAN

The venue of the race (marathon) will be in the central parking lot in Ankaran, so PARKING IN ANKARAN WILL BE VERY LIMITED.

Decide to park in the parking lots in Izola and from here take the free bus from Izola to Ankaran to the start of the marathon. Buses will depart at 6:00, 6:10, and 6:50 from the Izola Mehano bus stop (GPS coordinates 45°32’18.8″N 13°40’12.9″E). The bus schedule will also be available at the INFO point in Izola.

We will be very grateful if you decide to use the P+R service and help us reduce the number of cars in the central event area.

C) KOPER

Due to the limited number of parking spaces, runners and their companions are advised to also park in the parking lots in Koper and come to Izola by public transport.

Due to the planned road closures in Koper, the following bus stops will not operate: Tržnica, Zeleni park, Banka, Sv. Ana.

Transportation (from Koper to Izola) and parking for runners are NOT guaranteed by organizer.

Please note that the time to access the venue may be longer than usual due to the increased number of visitors.
